RPA Developer (UiPath) – Remote Canada

A growing consulting organization based in the Greater Toronto Area is looking for an experienced RPA Developer to join their automation practice. This is a fully remote role within Canada where you will design and implement enterprise automation solutions using the UiPath platform.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience building scalable, production-ready automations and thrives in environments where automation directly impacts business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade automations using UiPath.

  • Build complex automation workflows utilizing the UiPath REFramework, modular architecture, and reusable components.

  • Develop scalable queue-based automation solutions with advanced exception handling and retry logic.

  • Configure and manage UiPath Orchestrator, including queues, assets, triggers, folders, deployments, and monitoring.

  • Integrate automation solutions with APIs, enterprise systems, and databases (SQL).

  • Work with JSON and XML data structures to enable seamless system integrations.

  • Conduct root cause analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting using logs and diagnostic tools.

  • Support production automations including monitoring, incident resolution, and performance enhancements.

  • Follow development best practices including version control (Git/Azure DevOps), structured logging, and documentation standards.

  • Participate in code reviews, solution design discussions, and automation strategy planning.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in RPA development

  • Strong hands-on experience with the UiPath platform

  • Proven experience building advanced automation solutions beyond simple task bots

  • Deep understanding of UiPath Orchestrator administration and deployment

  • Experience implementing REFramework-based automation architectures

  • Experience working with APIs, SQL databases, and enterprise integrations

  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills

  • Experience working with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar version control tools

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within consulting or client-facing environments


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering automation solutions in a consulting or professional services environment

  • Knowledge of automation lifecycle management and governance frameworks

  • Experience working with enterprise-scale automation programs
