Our client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst (BA/BSA) to support key technology and business transformation initiatives. This role will focus on bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and helping deliver effective system and process improvements.

The successful candidate will have strong experience working with business requirements, system analysis, and technology implementation projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, project managers, and operational stakeholders to ensure solutions align with both business needs and technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements through stakeholder engagement and workshops.

  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development and implementation teams.

  • Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process optimization and system improvements.

  • Work closely with project managers, developers, and QA teams to support solution design, development, and delivery.

  • Create documentation including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process flows.

  • Assist in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of implemented solutions.

  • Support data analysis and reporting to help inform business decisions.

  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Participate in system implementations, upgrades, or integration initiatives.


Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.

  • Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.

  • Strong understanding of system implementations, integrations, or digital transformation projects.

  • Experience working with process mapping, workflow analysis, and system documentation.

  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project methodologies.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across business and technology groups.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with enterprise platforms such as CRM, ERP, or SaaS applications.

  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar documentation platforms.

  • Experience with data analysis tools or SQL.

  • Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications are considered an asset.

  • Experience working within consulting or enterprise technology environments.
